BACKGROUND
Mike has focused his practice exclusively in the area of Life & Estate Planning, Elder Law and Business Formation & Continuation. Before obtaining his law degree he was a financial planner for Murphey Favre and Dean Witter, Reynolds. The expertise gained in this profession enables him to more thoroughly understand the full estate planning process including how and where investments and insurance fit into a complete, integrated estate plan. This prior experience has greatly enhanced his ability to counsel clients in all aspects of life and estate planning. Mike also has a commercial pilot's license, with multi-engine and instrument ratings. He and his wife Mary are the parents of two children, a daughter and a son who are both at College. He is actively involved in their higher education through the checks he sends to the colleges each month! He has served the community as a Cubmaster, Scoutmaster and merit badge counselor. In what little free time is left he and Mary enjoy and support the symphony. He has also been known to sneak away to golf and fish every now and then.
